Composite Material Cutting
Circular saw blades for cutting composite materials across three application areas: fiber cement and calcium silicate building boards, carbon anodes for primary aluminum smelting, and mineral wool board and rock wool sandwich panels.
Most of these products use PCD tips, which are well suited to the abrasive nature of composite materials. The two mineral wool products use tungsten carbide with a specially selected grade and tooth geometry for longer service life on mineral wool production lines.
Building Boards
PCD saw blades for fiber cement siding and board, calcium silicate board, and a wide range of other composite building boards. One product is sized for on-site use with hand-held and professional circular saws; the other is built for high-volume factory production lines.
On-Site / Fiber Cement
A PCD saw blade for fiber cement siding, cladding, roofing panels, and partition boards with hand-held circular saws and professional power tools on construction sites. Also handles plasterboard and calcium silicate board in the same site-based context.
Factory Production / Building Boards
Industrial PCD saw blade for high-volume factory production cutting of calcium silicate board, fibre cement, plasterboard, MgO board, phenolic resin board, HPL, corian, and other composite building boards on sliding table saws and automated cutting lines.
Aluminum Smelting
Large-diameter PCD circular saw blades (900 - 1800 mm) for slotting the underside of prebaked carbon anodes on dedicated slotting machines in primary aluminum smelters. Two options: integral fixed PCD tips, or bolt-on replaceable cutter segments.
Carbon Anode Slotting / Fixed Tips
PCD circular saw blades (900 - 1800 mm) for slotting prebaked carbon anodes on dedicated slotting machines in primary aluminum smelters. Fixed PCD tips; 30,000 - 50,000 anodes service life per blade under standard conditions.
Carbon Anode Slotting / Replaceable Tips
Same application as CMDC—carbon anode slotting in aluminum smelters—but bolt-on PCD cutter segments are replaced without retiring the blade body. Reduces logistics cost and lead time for smelters far from the saw blade supplier.
Mineral Wool / Rock Wool
Tungsten carbide circular saw blades for mineral wool cutting in two product forms: rock wool board on factory production lines, and rock wool sandwich panels—where a mineral wool board core is bonded between thin steel face sheets—for both panel production factories and construction sites.
Factory Production / Rock Wool Board
Tungsten carbide saw blades for factory cut-to-length and panel sizing of mineral wool board and rock wool board. Specially selected carbide grade and tooth geometry for 30% or more longer service life than standard blades on mineral wool production lines.
Factory & On-Site / Rock Wool Sandwich Panel
Circular saw blades for mineral wool sandwich panels—rock wool board bonded between thin steel face sheets. Used in sandwich panel production factories and on construction sites; handles both the abrasive mineral fibre core and the steel skin in one pass.
